Attention 8th grade parents and students! Our first field trip of the year will take place on November 18, 2013. We will be attending the Orange County Regional Historical Center. The cost of the field trip are $20. Field trip permission slips and payment are due to Mrs. Frunker in room 148 by November 8, 2013.
Our Book Fair gives you and your children the opportunity to buy carefully selected, quality books and products at affordable prices. You’ll enjoy all of the excitement; in addition, our Book Fair serves as a fundraiser for our school.
The picture retake day for all OSS/OSES students is Wednesday, October 30th. Any student who was absent on September 3rd, must have their portrait taken for ID/Yearbook purposes. If you are interested in taking retakes to purchase, order forms will go home on Monday, October 28th.
Orlando Science Schools Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society is currently accepting new members. The Mu Alpha Theta Honor Society organization was formed in our school for the purpose of fostering interest, developing strong scholarships, and promoting the enjoyment of mathematics. Kennedy Space Center Field Trip for 7th Graders
OSS 7th Grade students are invited to join the field trip to Kennedy Space Center where they will have a chance to visit and see the educational opportunities at Kennedy Space Center.
The National Association of College Admission Counseling (NACAC) holds several National College Fairs throughout the US and University of Florida will be hosting one of these fairs. Parents and students who attend National College Fairs can meet one-on-one with representatives
Florida Future Physicists Induction Ceremony Information for OSS’ 7th and 8th Grade Students
Eligible inductees will visit FSU Tallahassee Campus, and experience the Physics Labs.
The transcripts for our senior students are available at the front desk for review. OSS seniors and their parents are welcome to pick-up a copy from Ms. Palmer. OSS Welcome Picnic for New Students and Families
We invite all of our new students and families to the OSS/OSES Welcome Picnic on Sunday, September 15th! Bring your own drinks (non-alcoholic) and/or chips to share!!! OSS will provide hot dogs, chicken, and hamburgers!!!
