Dear Parents/Guardians and Students,
We’re excited to share our Summer Reading list for the 2016-2017 school year. We continue to make adjustments to the program to give students the best possible experience while also upholding the desire to turn them into life-long readers.
Orlando Science Schools will be offering classes called academic/athletic electives for grades 6-12 in 2016-17 academic year. Academic electives are designed to encourage and help our Gifted/Advanced and students, who are seeking challenge to participate in academic competitions.
On Wednesday June 1st 2016, the OSS Class of 2016 held their graduation at the Orlando Repertory Theatre. This event was organized by Mr. Jenkins and it was a wonderful turn out filled with laughs, tears and smiles. We are extremely proud of this wonderful class and everything that they have worked for.
On May 24th, the sixth grade class enjoyed their end of the year field trip. The students, their teachers and parents initially stopped at the Orlando Titanic Experience Museum on International Drive. The students were guided by a time period (early 1900s) reenactor.
Do you want to learn how to oil paint this summer? Oil Painting Club along with Mr. Robles will be hosting a 3-Day Summer Workshop.
The Central Florida STEM Education Council (CFSEC) is a collaborative effort between academia, industry, professional organizations and government, with a long term objective of increasing the technical workforce for the security and continued growth of the United States.
Our Summer Camps are designed to introduce students entering 4-9th grades to the world of engineering and robotics.
