Orlando Science Charter Schools will provide the Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT) to our students. All students in grades 8-11 will be taking the test on Wednesday, October 16th between 8:30 am and 11:30 am.

PSAT/NMSQT is a program cosponsored by the College Board and National Merit Scholarship Corporation (NMSC). It is a standardized test that provides firsthand practice for the SAT. It also gives 11th grade students a chance to enter NMSC scholarship programs and gain access to college and career planning tools.

The PSAT test can only be taken on the day it is scheduled, there will be no retakes. Therefore, it is very important that all students in grades 8-11 attend school on time on Wednesday, October 16th.
